Beech Mountain Resort to open lift For cyclist

Beech Mountain Resort will offer all day riding on August 18 and September 15, with lift accessibility.

The beginner trail is complete and expands the resort’s offerings to accommodate all skill levels. The lifts will run from 9am to 430pm, with tickets costing $30 for all-day riding. The lift will not only access the downhill trails, but also the Emerald Outback trail system and paved roads.

‘We are excited to offer the lift as a transportation tool for all types of cyclists’, said Ryan Costin, Beech Mountain Resort’s General Manager. ‘This project has been progressing for several years and we are glad to see the vision starting to become a reality.

The 2012 Mountain Bike Race Series will continue as scheduled on August 18-19 and September 15 and 16. The resort will offer scenic lift rides, along with food and beverage at all events.
