Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a Group Sales Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong leadership skills and experience in sales or customer service. As the Group Sales Assistant Manager, you will support the Group Sales Director in managing daily operations, overseeing the sales team, and coordinating group events. This role also includes involvement in marketing initiatives and various resort duties, providing a comprehensive and dynamic work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Sales Director in daily operations.
- Oversee the sales team and coordinate group events.
- Answer phones and manage customer inquiries.
- Assist with ticketing and reservation systems.
- Support event planning and group bookings.
- Prepare promotional materials and handle data entry.
- Provide on-site assistance during events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Familiarity with ticketing and reservation systems is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student, graduating, or have graduated.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
