Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Resident Director of International Housing. This position will be responsible for the overall well-being and organization of the J1 Exchange visitor program. The ideal candidate must be hands-on and highly organized. Compensation package will include housing and skiing privileges. This is a salaried, seasonal position. Potential start date of September 15, 2023. Approximate end date of March 31, 2024..
Responsibilities
Supervising J1 Exchange Visitor Program
Driving company vehicle to and from Beech Mountain Resort to housing
Creating and executing educational and cultural trips
Reporting facility maintenance issues to management
Maintaining the cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues of company shuttles
Conflict resolution and crisis intervention
Administrative and operational functions
Programming and community building
Participation in departmental planning and decision making
Requirements or Qualifications
Valid North Carolina Drivers License
Comfort driving in various weather conditions
Warm and empathetic demeanor
Outgoing personality and highly organized
