Lodge Restaurant Manager
Beech Mountain Resort seeks a qualified applicant to fulfil the position of Lodge Restaurant Manager. The Lodge Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing the Lodge facility of the resort for the winter season, including the cafeteria-style kitchen, bar and seating area. The Lodge Restaurant Manager will be responsible for hiring staff, scheduling staff for the facility, food and beverage ordering and inventory, and will be able to work a flexible schedule. The Lodge Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the implementation of Beech Mountain Resort’s policies and procedures and will ensure a great customer experience in the Lodge. The Lodge Restaurant Manager will ensure that staff remain compliant with all local, state and federal laws and that customers’ needs are promptly met. The Lodge Restaurant Manager will have strong leadership skills, organizational skills and communication skills. The Lodge Restaurant Manager must be able to build relationships with staff and have the ability to work with others within the department and with other departments. Head of Housekeeping
Beech Mountain Resort seeks a motivated person to fulfil the role of Head of Housekeeping. The Head of Housekeeping will ensure the cleanliness of the property and will work with a cleaning crew to carry out cleaning tasks. Beech Mountain Resort has multiple facilities, and the Head of Housekeeping should be able to navigate the property from building to building to complete cleaning tasks. The right candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to work with others, and understands the need for efficiency and attention to detail. Must be able to lift 30lbs. Group Sales Manager
The Group Sales Manager works hand in hand with all the groups that come to Beech Mountain Resort to ensure they have the very best experience possible. The responsibilities of the Group Sales Manager include booking groups and helping them plan their trip, coordinating with other departments and clear communication as to how many and how large the groups coming will be. The Group Sales Manager will forecast for the coming weekend in terms of customer traffic as well as assist with events and online sales. The right candidate for this position is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, organized, and punctual with strong verbal and written communication skills. Lift Operations Manager
Beech Mountain Resort seeks a Lift Operations Manager for the upcoming winter season. The Lift Operations Manager will oversee the Lift Operations Department. The main duties of the Lift Operations Manager are scheduling lift attendants for daily and nightly lift operations, training lift attendants on operating the lifts with a focus on employee and customer safety, and ensuring a smooth operation by communicating as necessary with ski patrol, lift maintenance, and other departments quickly if an issue arises. The right candidate will have reliable transportation and be able to get to work in winter, have an understanding of the importance of Lift Operations with respect to safety and customer service at Beech Mountain Resort, and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Nursery Manager will oversee the operation of the nursery to the highest standards in our winter season, ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for the children. The responsibilities of the Nursery Manager include hiring staff for the Nursery, all clerical work for the nursery including scheduling and ordering supplies along with facilitating excellent childcare given to ages 6 months up to 12 years old. Previous childcare experience is required, childcare certifications are preferred. The Nursery Manager must have chains or 4-wheel drive and/or reliable transportation in winter. Aside from managerial responsibilities, the Nursery Manager will ensure staff provides high quality, flexible childcare for families visiting the resort.

- Help children keep good hygiene
- Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
- Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests.
