Beech Mountain Resort is excited to welcome back Virginia’s talented Americana folk duo If Birds Could Fly to the Beech Tree Bar & Grille on Saturday December 17th from 6:30 – 9:30p.m. as the first installment of the annual Beech Mountain Winter Music Series. If Birds Could Fly hails from the musically & culturally-rich region of Southwest Virginia and their sound is an excellent blend of the Appalachian roots of the past and today’s diverse Americana influences. Holiday drink specials and no cover charge make this a perfect holiday season evening after a day of skiing and snowboarding at Beech Mountain Resort.

This just in… Santa Claus, the jolly old elf himself will be visiting the Lodge at Beech Mountain Resort on Sunday, December 18th from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.! During this free event you can enjoy time with Santa, share your Christmas wish list and have your photo taken with the big man! We will also have a Christmas Craft Corner in the Elves Workshop where kids can have fun being creative and making Christmas gifts & decorations. Top off a festive winter afternoon with Santa by warming up around our fire pit with a cup of hot cocoa and roasted marshmallows!
