Beech Mountain Academy Open House
Beech Mountain Academy is holding open registration for the 2016/2017 season. BMA has two teams, Alpine Racing and Freestyle Ski/Snowboard. Beech Mountain Academy is open to children 5-18 years old with a beginner snow ability.
Our alpine race program is an excellent opportunity for young athletes ages 5-18 who love to ski! No prior racing experience is required, but we ask that athletes know how to stop and turn before joining the team.. With the addition of The Park at Beech Mountain Resort, the Freestyle Ski/Snowboard team focuses on park skills and features. No prior park experience is necessary but navigation of the entire mountain is a must. Both teams compete in the High Country Junior Race Series and local events. Members of both teams do no have to compete in any or all events.
Beech Mountain Academy is holding an open house on Dec 3rd from 9am-3pm. Coaches will be out riding with existing team members and encourage athletes interested in joining to come out and ride! We will be holding registration and a fundraising raffle in The Lodge at Beech Mountain Resort.
