Roasting of the Hog Provides Food, Fireworks, Music & More on July 4
Celebrate Independence Day weekend in Eastern America’s highest town!
Beech Mountain’s 47th annual Roasting of the Hog festival takes place Saturday, July 4, in front of the View Haus in the play yard at Beech Mountain Resort. Activities start at 5:30 p.m. and continue well into the evening.
This fun-filled event includes: a DJ on hand to play all your favorites from yesterday and today; slow roasted, pit-cooked barbecue pork and smoked turkey breast; all the trimmings; face painting; raffle, and a bake sale. In addition, Beech Mountain’s Park & Recreation Department will provide a kid’s play area plenty of fun activities.
Fireworks begin shortly after dark. And, the resort’s Beech Mountain Brewing Company will be open as well.
Advance tickets are $15 for ages eight and up, and $7.50 for ages seven and under. Those prices rise to $20 and $10 at the gate. Tickets are available online at www.BeechMountainChamber.com.
