Winter is Here!
Beech Mountain Resort will open for skiing and snowboarding on Saturday, December 19, 2015. The resort will operate from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.. Ice Skating and Tubing will open for the season on Sunday, December 20, 2015. We will continue to make snow as temperatures allow. Please continue to check the website for further updates.
Live Music Saturday!
This Saturday, Dec. 19, Mission in the Rain is scheduled to rock at the Beech Tree Bar & Grille restaurant at Beech Mountain Resort! The sounds of The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia will fill the air as Mission in the Rain does covers from one of the greatest bands of all time. Be sure to check out the live music in the newly renovated Beech Tree Bar & Grille from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Grab some of your friends to eat, drink, and jam to the first band of the Après Music Series – this music will move your soul!
sELFies with Santa
Beech Mountain Resort has Christmas family fun in mind for this Christmas season! Santa Claus will make a special trip to Beech Mountain before returning to the North Pole to gather gifts for Christmas Day. From 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., December 19th and 20th, the View Haus will be filled with Christmas festivities for families visiting Beech Mountain Resort. How many chances are there to take a sELFie with Santa? Well, at Beech Mountain Resort, we are providing you the opportunity to take some shots with the most famous elf of all! Get your cameras ready to snap a pic with jolly old Saint Nick! Santa Claus will be available throughout the event for capturing photos with children and their families.
FREE Photo Booth
A favorite event for adults at our 80s Retro Weekend is the photo booth, so we decided to bring the experience to families for the holiday season. With an assortment of props available, families can climb into the photo booth and capture some free candids of what is sure to be a memorable day at Beech Mountain Resort!
FREE hot chocolate for kids 10 and under
A free cup of hot chocolate will bring smiles and warmth to children as they enjoy the events of the day. Nothing says winter fun like a cup of hot cocoa topped with marshmallows.
Craft Station
Preparing for Christmas would not be complete without homemade treasures crafted by children. A craft station will be available for kids to use their imagination to create one-of-a-kind ornaments to be cherished for years to come.
