Due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene, we are delaying the start of our 2024/2025 season pass sale by one week. Beech Mountain Resort is thrilled to announce the start of our 2024/2025 season pass sale, offering exceptional savings and perks for the upcoming winter season. Starting Tuesday, October 1, Unlimited Season Passes will be available for just $475 through October 31—a savings of up to $140. These season passes come with a variety of on-mountain perks and reciprocal skiing privileges at partner resorts.

For those looking for more flexible options, we’re also offering Weekday Season Passes at three rates: $415 for adults, $315 for juniors, seniors, and military, and a special local rate of $250 for local students, teachers, and faculty from Appalachian State University, Lees-McRae College, and Avery and Watauga County public schools. These passes are valid Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Along with our unbeatable season pass offerings, Beech Mountain Resort is excited to unveil a series of significant upgrades for the 2024/2025 winter season:

Winter 2024/2025 Upgrades:

Enhanced Snowmaking:
New glycol-cooled air compressor system to increase on-hill air capacity for snowmaking.
Five Super Polecat snowguns to boost snowmaking efficiency and coverage.

Lift Upgrades:
Lift 3 and Lift 4 have received new electrical systems and operator stations for improved performance.
Lift 7 has a rebuilt gearbox and has been inspected, ensuring readiness for the winter season.

Cosmic Tubing Lighting:
New RGB LED stadium lights and speakers will create an immersive cosmic tubing experience during night sessions.

New Tow Rope in Terrain Park:
For Pete’s Sake: Formerly known as the Meadows, this terrain park slope has been renamed. A new Towpro Towrope has been installed here, allowing guests to enjoy more laps with ease and enhanced terrain park features.

Powder Bowl Transition:
Powder Bowl is returning to public ski terrain with a freestyle jump line when conditions allow.

5,506’ Remodel:
5,506’ has been remodeled with enhanced audiovisual capabilities and new televisions that don’t obstruct the view, providing a more comfortable experience for guests.

New LED Parking Lot Lights:
Improved visibility and safety with new lighting installed in all four guest parking areas.

Increased Ski and Snowboard Equipment Rental Fleets:
We’ve added new Rossignol skis and Burton snowboards to our rental inventory, providing more options for our guests.

New Resort-Wide POS System:
A fully integrated point-of-sale system will allow guests to add money to their season passes for easy spending across the resort, enhancing convenience and the overall guest experience.
