USASA Southeastern Series Slopestyle 2018

Join us Saturday, January 20th for a slopestyle ski/snowboard competition in The Park. Slopestyle competitions consists of a mix of jumps, hips, rails, boxes, as well as other features. Skiers and riders are scored by a panel of judges. Factors considered are difficulty of trick, execution (clean landings, etc.), style, & more. Dust off your bag of tricks & join us for a day in the park!
When? Saturday, January 20, 2018 *ALL DAY*
Where? Beech Mountain Resort’s “The Park”
Time? Registration will be from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the The Lodge
Amount: $40
Who can compete? Youngest category is 7 & under and oldest is 70 & up! Come one, come all! If you love hitting jumps & rails then come test your skills!
How much for USASA membership? The overseeing body, USASA, charges $100 for an annual membership. Each individual Southeastern Series event is $35 per competitor.
Schedule:
Course inspection: 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
Mandatory Riders meeting at top of Terrain Park: 12:00 p.m. Explanation of heat flights; age groups, skier and snowboard
Contest Begins: 12:30 p.m. (each skier/rider will get two runs)
Awards at The Lodge: 5:00 p.m.

Helmets are required as this is a slopestyle event. Slopestyle means skiiers and riders will be hitting a variety of jumps, rails, & other features.
