Live Music at 5,506′ with Brooks Forsyth

Live music at 5506′ is back! Grab your dancin’ shoes and join us for great music, cool drinks, and panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Music starts at 2:30 p.m. every Saturday, starting June 3. 5506′ is a family friendly environment. The concerts themselves are free, however the only way to access 5506′ is by chairlift. There is no parking or drop off location at 5506′. Lift tickets are available for purchase in the resort village.

Hailing from the mountains of North Carolina, Brooks Forsyth is a musician of Appalachia and beyond. He began playing on street corners and barbecue restaurants and has since become a Nashville recording artist. Brooks’ musical style encompasses a variety of genres, particularly within Americana. He has a large repertoire of original songs and a versatile guitar style consisting of both flatpicking and fingerpicking techniques. Throughout the last fifteen years, he has performed solo or with a variation of musical ensembles across the U.S.A.
