Are you planning a vacation to the mountains? Make sure to take a scenic lift ride on your next North Carolina Mountain vacation. During the summer months, scenic lift rides are available Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Enjoy panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains as your travel up to our peek summit of 5,506 feet. The 12-minute ride takes you up to 5506’, where you can relax on the deck and take in the views. The 2,800 square-foot viewing deck offers picnic tables and adirondack chairs for comfortable seating. Beech Mountain Brewing Co. is located in the resort village and offers a wide variety of food offerings. Grab your food and take it to the summit for a family picnic at 5506′. Patrons can hike back down or make it a round trip and enjoy views of the Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina Mountains as you descend to the base of the slopes.
