The resort’s summer music series combines great bands, cool beverages and spectacular panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Because of such natural beauty, Wine Enthusiast magazine included 5506′ on its list of “8 Sizzling Ski Resort Bars in America.” Concerts start at 2:30 p.m. each Saturday. Cost is $10 to ride the chairlift. The concerts themselves are free.

Spartanburg’s instrumentalist of the year for 8 years and running, Shane Pruitt is a staple of the music scene in Spartanburg, SC. Touring relentlessly with The Shane Pruitt Band, and performing as a feature artist with such acts as The Marshall Tucker Band, The Lee Boys, Flannel Church featuring Duane Trucks, Jeff Sipe, Ike Stubblefield, Yonrico Scott and many more.

The resort is open Thursday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Our current lunch menu will be offered daily at5506′ and the Beech Mountain Brewing Company. The menu offers an array of deli sandwiches, salads, and gluten-free menu options.
