Join us for a fun filled weekend of mountain biking, live music, good food and fun! The resort will operate Thursday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..  Our June lunch menu will be offered daily at 5506′ and the Beech Mountain Brewing Company.  The menu offers an array of deli sandwiches, salads, and gluten-free menu options. Don’t forget about our popular Sunday Brunch!

Mile High Yoga Returns! Join us Saturday!

Take your downward dog to new heights with Beech Mountain Resort’s Mile High Yoga. Mile High Yoga takes place at 5,506 feet on the observation deck of the resort’s skybar. Our mission is to provide a safe, friendly, soothing and unique atmosphere for all ability levels.yoga

Our hand picked instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to help you strengthen your body, calm your mind, and find a little inspiration for the rest of your journey.

The dates of yoga are: June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27 and September 3.

Classes begin at 10:30 a.m. and last approximately one hour. The class is accessible by chairlift. Tickets to the class are $15 and can be purchased in Ski Beech Sports, located in the resort village. Participants are asked to ride the chairlift between 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. . Yoga mats are limited.


Live Music Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The coolest mountaintop bar east of the Rockies is the place to catch live music every Saturday between June 3 and Sept. 4. The resort’s summer music series combines great bands, cool beverages and spectacular panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Because of such natural beauty, Wine Enthusiast magazine included the 5506’ Skybar on its list of “8 Sizzling Ski Resort Bars in America”. Concerts start at 2:30 p.m. each Saturday, weather permitting.

Cost is $10 to ride the chairlift. The concerts themselves are free.
