The Ticket Sales Manager oversees the Ticketing and Cash Control Department, ensuring smooth operations and accurate cash handling. This role is responsible for reconciling cash and tickets daily, managing the department’s staff, and troubleshooting ticketing and point-of-sale issues. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, strong communicator, and experienced with cash management.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile all cash bags and enter accurate counts on the Income Summary Sheet
  • Reconcile ticket windows and ensure ticket stock matches tickets sold
  • Manage preliminary ticket counts by tracking the quantity of each ticket type sold
  • Maintain ticketing and point-of-sale materials (e.g., Clover paper)
  • Schedule staff for the Ticketing Department and ensure attendance
  • Cover all department operational needs and follow up on hiring/applicants
  • Manage the vault, including organizing and adjusting monies
  • Address ticketing issues and update the Central Ticketing System as needed
  • Oversee Clover management, maintenance, and implementation
  • Communicate equipment needs and ensure all ticket windows are operational
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the ticketing office
  • Track and report any low inventory for Cash Control materials

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a managerial role preferred
  • Strong experience handling cash and performing reconciliations
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
  • Four-wheel drive/AWD/snow chains required
