High Country Real Estate, doing business as Beech Mountain Resort Lodging, is seeking an experienced, driven, and highly motivated Real Estate Broker to lead and support our lodging and property management department. Beech Mountain Resort is a premier four-season mountain destination known for exceptional guest experiences, strong community values, and a positive, hard-working culture. Our lodging department manages a large and diverse portfolio of privately owned mountain homes that are rented to resort patrons and visitors throughout the year, making it a vital part of the overall resort operation.
This role serves as the supervising and qualifying Broker for High Country Real Estate dba Beech Mountain Resort Lodging and is responsible for the leadership, legal compliance, and continued growth of the lodging and property management program.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the supervising and qualifying Broker, ensuring full compliance with all North Carolina Real Estate Commission laws, rules, and regulations.
Oversee daily lodging and property management operations for a large portfolio of vacation rental homes, ensuring smooth execution, homeowner satisfaction, and exceptional guest experiences.
Manage and maintain all property management agreements, homeowner contracts, disclosures, trust accounts, and required documentation in accordance with state law and company standards.
Lead the onboarding process for new homes entering the rental program, including contract execution, compliance review, operational setup, and coordination with internal teams.
Actively support the growth of the property management portfolio by cultivating new homeowner relationships, representing the value of Beech Mountain Resort Lodging, and expanding the number of managed properties.
Ensure all homes meet brand standards, quality expectations, and operational requirements while balancing homeowner goals and guest needs.
Oversee the hiring, onboarding, training, and supervision of lodging department staff, including licensed and unlicensed personnel, while ensuring ongoing compliance with state law and company policies.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability to the lodging team while fostering a positive, fun, respectful, and hardworking environment aligned with Beech Mountain Resort’s values.
Collaborate with resort leadership and internal departments to align lodging operations with the broader goals and vision of Beech Mountain Resort.
Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures to support audits, reporting, and ongoing regulatory compliance.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff on real estate law, ethical practices, and operational standards.
As a company of Beech Mountain Resort, Beech Mountain Resort Lodging works hand in hand with the resort’s sales and marketing teams to create seamless, adventure-filled guest experiences. The Broker plays an important role in supporting collaboration between lodging and sales by helping package accommodations with mountain activities, seasonal events, and resort offerings, enhancing the guest journey while driving visitation and overall resort success.
