Premier Mountain Guide Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, professional, and safety-focused attitude
- Guide a variety of outdoor experiences, including skiing, fly fishing, hiking, paddling, and scenic tours
- Provide expert instruction tailored to each guest’s skill level and goals
- Operate and maintain all required equipment
- Safely transport guests using PMG’s private transportation fleet when applicable
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management
- Ensure all trips meet PMG’s high standards of safety, customization, and attention to detail
- Represent Premier Mountain Guides and Beech Mountain Resort with professionalism at all times
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of guide equipment and vehicles
- Assist with trip planning, logistics, and guest preparation
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including winter environments
- Background in outdoor recreation, guiding, or instruction preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record required for guest transportation
- CPR/First Aid or Wilderness First Aid preferred (not required)
- Comfortable navigating mountainous terrain and driving in winter conditions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend and holiday availability required
