Beech Mountain Resort is seeking personable and reliable Mountain Bike Mechanics to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for cycling. Bike Mechanics play a key role in ensuring the safety and performance of our rental fleet while providing excellent customer service to guests.
Responsibilities:
Repair, inspect, and maintain bikes following industry standards
Prepare bikes on time for tours and other deadlines
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and updates in the database
Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of workshop supplies
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workshop and workbench
Provide feedback on bicycle performance and collaborate with the mechanic and office team
Deliver bicycles to rental customers and assist with fittings
Offer friendly and professional customer service, acting as the face of the resort’s bike shop
Assist with bicycle accessories, tools, and tour preparation materials as needed
Requirements or Qualifications:
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Punctual and reliable with strong schedule management
