Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled and driven Kitchen Manager to lead operations at 5,506’, our premier mountaintop restaurant and one of the highest elevation dining experiences in the Southeast. In this full-time, year-round leadership role, you will oversee kitchen operations, guide a dynamic team, and help craft seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and update seasonal menus that align with guest preferences and resort standards
  • Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain efficiency, safety, and cleanliness
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels and control costs
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and compliance regulations
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations for kitchen team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve kitchen operational issues as they arise

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or culinary leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and menu development
