The Childcare and Youth Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering high-quality childcare and youth programs at Beech Mountain Resort, including the Snowflakes Childcare Program and other youth initiatives. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting families visiting the resort. The Childcare and Youth Programs Manager will be instrumental in staffing, implementing programs, and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of Snowflakes Childcare and other youth programs
- Ensure a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children
- Maintain compliance with state regulations for childcare facilities
- Manage and schedule staff to ensure smooth program operations
- Develop and implement engaging activities for children that promote creativity and learning
- Communicate with parents regarding program details and children’s well-being
- Monitor facility cleanliness and organization to meet safety standards
- Assist in creating youth program schedules and events
- Respond to any issues or concerns promptly and effectively
Requirements or Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare management or youth programs preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods
- Four-wheel drive/AWD/snow chains required
