Beech Mountain Resort will host a Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Play Yard slope, located just outside the Lodge. The evening will feature live music, family-friendly activities, vendors, and a fireworks display at dusk.

The Pressley Laton Band will take the stage, delivering live music throughout the evening, alongside DJ Pete Welter, who will keep the energy going with a mix of family-friendly tunes.

Guests can enjoy a variety of food and vendors, including Queso’s Ice Cream Truck, Third Eye Coffee, and Leisa’s Kettle Corn, along with goods from Pink Moon Beech by Tabitha Tindale, Stony Fork Dyes, Atta Girl Boutique, Integral Disc Dyes, and Bob Wright Leatherworks. Agape Farms Face Painting will be on site, along with balloon twisting and inflatable attractions for children.

Inside the Lodge, the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce will host its annual roasting of the hog fundraiser. A long-standing community tradition, the roast is prepared by local volunteers, with proceeds supporting a range of community initiatives. Guests can enjoy slow-cooked barbeque pork and turkey plates available for purchase.

Beech Mountain Resort will also offer a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktails available for guests throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring camping chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert and festivities comfortably on the slope.

The event is free and open to the public. Fireworks will begin at dusk. Guests should plan for increased traffic, larger crowds, and are encouraged to arrive early.
