Dr. Bacon is a genre defining “Appalachian Funk-Grass” band from Boone, NC. We play an infectiously danceable blend of funk, soul, jazz, rock, blues, folk, hip-hop and more with a Southern Appalachian Bluegrass foundation . We feature as diverse instrumentation as our influencing styles including: guitar, resonator, banjo, harmonica, bass, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone drums, trombone, kazoo and more.
