Closing Day Celebration | Saturday, March 14

Join us at Beech Mountain Resort on Saturday, March 14 as we celebrate Closing Day and the 100th day of the winter season.

The resort will be open daily this week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no night skiing. Saturday, March 14 will be the final day of the 2026 winter season, and weekday lift ticket rates will be in effect.

Please note that tubing has closed for the season.

Closing Day festivities include our annual Pond Skim from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., where skiers and snowboarders attempt to skim across the pond while showing off creative costumes and competing for awards including Best Costume, Best Overall Skim, and Best Splash.

The celebration continues with a deck party at the lodge from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring a DJ, photo booth, games, and more.

We will wrap up the day with our Staff and Passholder Appreciation Party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. inside the lodge with complimentary beer and food from Claudia’s Authentic Mexican Food at Play Yard Provisions.
