Beech Mountain Resort hosted its sixth annual Banked Slalom on Saturday, Feb. 23rd. The course was set-up on Lower White Lightning. The competition had 85 participants ranging from 9 years old to 55 years old. Competitors were challenged by rainy weather and course conditions through the race.
Competitor Travis Mckay (Asheville) took first place for Men’s Masters Ski with the overall fastest time of 28.67 seconds.
