The resort’s summer music series combines great bands, cool beverages and spectacular panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Because of such natural beauty, Wine Enthusiast magazine included the 5506′ Skybar on its list of ” 8 Sizzling Ski Resort Bars in America.” Concerts start at 2:30 p.m. each Saturday, weather permitting. Cost is $10 to ride the chairlift. The concerts themselves are free.

Formed in early 2014, Sweet Sweet is an American folk duo from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina comprised of Jeremy Dunham (guit…ar, vocal) and Kerrine Gifford (cello, vocal). Blending the elegance and mood of cello with the rustic roots of acoustic guitar, Sweet Sweet crafts simple songs filled with heart-felt stories and Southern charm.
