The resort will open a new freestyle inspired store, Roots Rideshop. Roots Rideshop will be located in the Beech Tree Village, and will carry a dynamic line of both ski and snowboard equipment. “Roots will be the only shop in the High Country that is specifically focused on freestyle skiing and snowboarding,” said Page. “The shop will have a very inviting atmosphere. We will have a knowledgeable staff helping customers find exactly what they are looking for. With a complete overhaul, including an indoor skate ramp, our goal is to express our passion for our product,” he said. The shop will carry Armada, Solomon, Skull Candy, Flow, Grenade, Arbor, Jones, Smith, Von Zipper, Nomis and several other brands to increase the resorts product line. “We are thrilled about having Stephen on board. He has completely revamped our current operation and we are very confident in his ability to increase our offerings,” said Ryan Costin, general manager.
