Named after our soaring elevation, the highest ski area in eastern America, this unique venue features a spacious 2,800-square-foot deck with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. At the heart of 5506′, you’ll find a stunning glass roundhouse, complete with a fully stocked bar, bar stools, and tables—all designed to provide breathtaking panoramic views.
Sunset Dinners
Indulge in a memorable dining experience with our Sunset Dinners on the 5506′ Skybar deck. This exclusive package includes a scenic lift ride to the summit, a reserved seat for dinner, and a lift ride back to the base. Make sure to catch the lift by 5:45 pm, and enjoy the ride back to the base until 9 pm.

Summer Season:
During the summer, 5506′ is accessible exclusively by lift ride. There is no parking or drop-off available at the summit. Lift tickets can be conveniently purchased at Ski Beech Sports in the resort village. For those seeking a bit more adventure, hiking to the 5,506′ elevation from the mountain’s base is also welcome!
Winter Season:
In winter, access to 5506′ is reserved for skiers and snowboarders with valid lift tickets. Guests must ride the chairlift to the summit and are required to ski or snowboard down the mountain—riding the chairlift back down is not an option. We encourage all guests to enjoy responsibly.
