Beech Mountain Resort is seeking personable and reliable Bike Mechanics to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for cycling. Bike Mechanics play a key role in ensuring the safety and performance of our rental fleet while providing excellent customer service to guests.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, inspect, and maintain bikes following industry standards
- Prepare bikes on time for tours and other deadlines
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and updates in the database
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of workshop supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop and workbench
- Provide feedback on bicycle performance and collaborate with the mechanic and office team
- Deliver bicycles to rental customers and assist with fittings
- Offer friendly and professional customer service, acting as the face of the resort’s bike shop
- Assist with bicycle accessories, tools, and tour preparation materials as needed
