About Our Mountain
Beech Mountain Resort opened in 1967. Beech Mountain Resort is the highest ski area east of the Rockies, and we continually reach for new heights. Each offseason brings a wave of upgrades, improvements, renovations and new amenities. The past three years we have made substantial upgrades to our resort including complete renovations on our rentals and ski school buildings, band new ticket booths and remodel of the Beech Mountain Brewing Company. Beech Mountain Resort in only of the only ski areas in the United States to have its own brewery located centrally in the village of the resort and to have a one of a kind Sky Bar, 5506’, located at the summit of our mountain.
