Out of Greensboro, North Carolina, and voted Best Cover Band in Greensboro for the year 2010 by Yes Weekly. Walrus consists of some of the best musicians that has come out of North Carolina, including members of Ben Folds’ Band (Universal Records) and Bus Stop and the legendary drummer Eddie Walker, muse to Ben Folds. Their live shows are full of energy and deliver all the raw talent and fun that could be imagined. With over 10 years playing any and every kind of event, Walrus knows how to make any party one you will not soon forget. Playing everybody’s favorite party songs from the 60’s through today, they always have the crowd singing along and screaming for more.
Walrus has played hundreds of weddings, private parties, corporate functions, non-profit fundraisers, and university events all over the eastern United States. Walrus has performed in locations like the Biltmore Estate, Keswick Hall, the Ford Plantation, the Pinehurst Resort and many other prestigious venues and event facilities. Now, they are coming to your favorite local music venue, The Beech Tree at Beech Mountain Resort!
