Escape to the mountains for Lees-McRae College’s Ski Beech Blast at Beech Mountain Resort! Scheduled for Saturday, February 22, the event will offer Lees-McRae College alumni, students, faculty, staff and families discounted lift tickets and rentals! Additionally, the Pinnacle Inn, Beech Mountain is offering a 10% discount for Lees-McRae affiliates.
The fun doesn’t stop at the prices, it’s also 80s weekend on the slopes so don’t forget to grab your legwarmers and parachute pants. After a day of skiing and snowboarding, you can come relax at the pizza reception in the Beech Tree Bar and Grille at 5 p.m. complete with tunes from the well-known band ‘The Breakfast Club.†There will also be appearances by Carolina Ghostbusters, a Mile-High Moonwalking Contest, a Totally Retro Apparel Contest, and 80s-themed specials on lodging, meals and ski rentals.
