Robbie Cavagnaro
Beech Mountain, N.C.—After working for several years in Mountain Operations at Beech Mountain Resort, Robbie Cavagnaro has added Terrain Park Manager to his list of duties. Cavagnaro is a Beech Mountain resident and has spent his career at Beech Mountain Resort.
This spring, Cavagnaro traveled to Oregon’s Timberline Resort, where he attended Cutter’s Camp, which brings industry leaders together to share park building skills and improve their grooming operations. He has spent this summer working in Mountain Operations and constructing new features for the 2011/2012 season. His next project will be to build the terrain park, and to incorporate the grooming and as needed in the daily operations.
“Robbie is a talented individual and he knows what our customers expect from our product,†Ryan Costin, Beech Mountain Resort General Manager, said. “He has been a key part in snowmaking, lifts, the terrain park and grooming. He has a great attitude and I have no doubt in his ability to produce exactly what we are looking for.â€
In addition to building and designing terrain park features, Cavagnaro recently built a new skate ramp in the resort’s new retail shop.
